About the author
Georg Essen wurde 1961 geboren. Er ist seit 2020 Professor für Systematische Theologie am Zentralinstitut für Katholische Theologie der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin und hat eine Zweitmitgliedschaft in der dortigen Juristischen Fakultät inne. Zu seinen Forschungsschwerpunkten zählen klassische Themen der Dogmatik, Philosophie in der Moderne sowie Politische Theologie und Religionsrecht.
