About the author
Originally from Rockaway Beach, New York, Brian Thomsen was an author, editor, and anthologist of science fiction and fantasy novels. Though known for his numerous short stories and Forgotten Realms novels, Thomsen was also nominated for a Hugo Award for his work as founding editor of the Warner Books' Questar Science Fiction imprint. Thomsen lived in Brooklyn, New York with his wife, Donna, until his death in 2008.
