About the author

Steve Knight won state and national Powerlifting championships during his eleven-year competitive career, while also achieving a second-in-the-world ranking. At the US National Powerlifting Championships in 1982, lifting in the 181 lb. weight class, Steve set an Oregon state record in the squat of 722 lbs. that still stands today.

Steve’s experience with handling the pressure and executing the big lifts on the big stage is what drives the WinningSTATE mission: “To bring world-class mental-toughness training to every athlete in the world.”
