The catch? The only information she has on his whereabouts is that he was living in Dead Earth fifteen years ago. Tracking him down is difficult enough, but when she does, he isn’t at all what Nyx expects. Life hasn’t treated him kindly, and it’s left the exiled Shaman cynical and angry.
Nyx, not exactly full of hope herself these days, isn’t sure she’s the right person to convince him to help her, but she has to try. And the funny thing about convincing someone else that life is worth fighting for? Sometimes, you convince yourself of the same thing along the way.
Michelle has recently escaped a desolate land, fleeing to the freezing north with her dark wizard, her unicorn, and her feline overlord. Despite certain stereotypes you may be familiar with, the dark wizard is not holding her captive, nor does the unicorn require virgin riders. The feline overlord, however, may well be evil.
Michelle holds dual BAs in English and Philosophy, which has gotten her about as far as you would expect it to in life. Despite all evidence to the contrary, she’s still desperately holding out hope that in an alternate reality she’s a sword-wielding princess.
