About this ebook

A gripping tale of survival and daring rescue on the high seas from Michael J. Tougias, bestselling author of The Finest Hours.

When a forty-seven-foot sailboat vanishes in the Gulf Stream during a violent storm, three weary sailors are left clinging to life on a small raft, battling towering waves reaching eighty feet high. In this riveting middle-grade adaptation of the adult nonfiction book, A Storm Too Soon, Tougias chronicles the harrowing true story of four brave Coast Guardsmen who risked their lives in the throes of a ruthless nor'easter to save the stranded sailors.

With heart-pounding action and vivid detail, Tougias brings this incredible rescue mission to life, capturing the heroism and resilience of both the survivors and their rescuers. Part of the True Rescue Series, this book is a testament to the power of courage and determination in the face of unimaginable adversity.
