What a roller coaster of a ride this story is, this series is so far out of my comfort zone but I have loved every book, this one is no exception. It is good to see psychic Stefan and psychic healer Dr Tandy working together in full force, but this is a case like no other that they have ever encountered. This is the best book in this series I’ve read in quite a while. There was so much tension between all the characters. Stefan and Dr Maddy are a huge part of why I loved this one so much. They have always been my favorites. Tandy had a horrific childhood and even now still trusts no one. Now her mother is gone and she needs to care for her little brothers she just doesn’t know if she can. This was a crazy wild ride. Ghosts are just as evil as the people they were before death.

A story that will give you chills. Dysfunctional family dynamics lead Tandy on a roller coaster for years. Her Gramma finally steps in to save her, but that safety net is unraveled by Tandy's mother, Isabella. Tandy is worried about caring for her nonverbal siblings, but with Dr. Maddy, and Stefans help she finds a way to connect with them. I think this novel might be one of my favourites in the series. So well written, I was on the edge of my seat.
