This author and editor need to buy a contraction - or a thousand. The lack of them renders the dialogue phony. Could also stand a strong editor that will pick up on spelling, continuity, tense usage, and grammar errors. It got so bad that after about 70 pages I began marking the mistakes with highlights - all those errors (I found about 80) kind of took me out of the story.

The only complaint I have is I'm I stickler for misspelled words I understand that it being free doesn't allow for some great proof reader to do the work, but other than that I am a huge fan of Detective John Keegan and would love to see a series on him that rivals Alex Cross series.

Incredible amount of grammatical errors. It was a little hard to follow with all of the (lack of) editing. Entertaining read. Could've done w/o the sex details and oral surgery details, but an entertaining read nonetheless.
