About the editors
David Colmer is an Australian writer and literary translator who lives in Amsterdam. Besides poetry, he also translates novels and children’s literature. Colmer has translated more than 60 books and has won many literary translation prizes, including the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award and the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize (both with novelist Gerbrand Bakker), and major Dutch and Australian prizes for his body of work. His most recent poetry translations are Menno Wigman’s Window-Cleaner Sees Paintings (Arc), Paul van Ostaijen’s Occupied City (Smokestack), Ester Naomi Perquin’s The Hunger in Plain Viewand Nachoem M. Wijnberg’s Divan of Ghalib (both White Pine Press, USA).
Series Editor Sonnet Mondal has read at literary festivals in Macedonia; Cork, Ireland; Istanbul, Turkey; Granada, Nicaragua; Sri Lanka; and Slovakia. Winner of the 2016 Gayatri Gamarsh Memorial award for literary excellence, Sonnet was one of the authors of Silk Routes Project, IWP, University of IOWA. One of the current directors of Odisha Art & Literature Festival, Sonnet Mondal edits the Indian section of Lyrikline Poetry Archive, Berlin. He was one of the guest editors of Poetry at Sangam, India in 2017 and currently serves as the Series editor of the Enchanting Verses Literary Review.
