    About the author

    Lee Baucom has had a life-long interest in martial arts. As a teenager, he practiced Tae Kwan Do. After quite a pause, he returned to the martial arts after turning 50. He now practices Jiu Jitsu and is currently a blue belt. Lee participated in adventure races, paddleboards, trail runs, and teaches scuba diving. He is also the author of seven books on healthy relationships and thriving in life. He is a frequent speaker, hosts 3 podcasts, and is a life coach.

    Bethany Marshall is a professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter (4-1), and a Jiu Jitsu practitioner and enjoys Obstacle Course Racing for fun. She was a contestant on season one of Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge on NBC, as well as on season 18 of The Ultimate Fighter, the first of the show to include women. Bethany is the founder of Aitia Press and serves as the Publishing Director for Morgan James Publishing. She was also listed a star watch honoree by Publishers Weekly in 2019 for her trailblazing spirit, innovative problem-solving, and leadership qualities. Bethany loves sharing her love of jiu jitsu and books.
