Die Eltern von Maxi und Leon müssen für eine Woche weg. Die einzige Lösung weit und breit: Ihr großer Bruder Tommi muss auf sie aufpassen. Tommi ist im dritten Semester und wohnt in einer winzigen Studentenbude. Natürlich ist er überhaupt nicht auf kleine Kinder eingestellt, und Windeln wechseln oder für Kinder kochen hat er auch nie gelernt. Doch der kleine Leon findet schnell heraus, dass das Leben ohne Windeln viel praktischer ist. Und das Kochen übernimmt Maxi. Mit Eiern, Mehl und Milch umzugehen ist nicht schwer ... oder etwa doch? Und beim Kellnern im Café helfen sie super mit. Als die Woche zu Ende geht, kann Tommi kaum glauben, dass es ihm richtig schwerfällt, seine Schwester und seinen Bruder wieder ziehen zu lassen. Denn er hat die beiden ganz fest ins Herz geschlossen.
