This is a nice story INSPIRED BY some events written of the biblical Esther but to say that is is the story of Esther in the Bible would be untrue. So if you want to read a nice novel set in the time of the reign of the Persians, this is a nice read, but if you are looking to read about the biblical Esther come to life, I would take a pass.
