4.5 stars This is book five in the Colorado Cowboy series, even though it is a stand alone book, i feel you miss a lot of history and some great reads by starting with this one, but you will not be lost if you jump right into this one. I love the writing style of Jody Hedlund, and look forward to her books. They are packed with family, love, some mystery and so much more. I enjoyed getting re-acquainted with the McQuaid family. What a fantastic end to a beloved series! Jody Hedlund weaves a powerful story of redemption, second chances, & faith in this romantic, stirring conclusion to the Colorado Cowboys series. With each story, we see the McQuaid family come together, support each other, & forgive even when circumstances prove difficult. Dylan was affected the most by his losses, but instead of turning to family & faith, he turned to vice. In this story, he get his second chance. Thanks to the author for the arc!

Catherine has got to be one of my favorite heroines of this series! (Although, how can I even say that when I’ve loved ALL of them so much?!) I was enthralled by all of the characters in this story. From charming, determined and regretful Dylan, to innocent, caring and insecure Catherine, to sweet little baby Austin. Even the stoic and faithful Stu and his helpful and motherly wife, Trudy! Add in all the rest of the McQuaid relatives and this cast of characters was phenomenal! Loved it!
