About the author

Hi, I'm Chong Shipei — a Singaporean author passionate about stories, people, and lifelong learning. I became a Christian in 2000 during my junior college years, and that life-changing encounter with God continues to shape the way I live and connect with others.

With a degree in Social Work and an advanced diploma in Kindergarten Teaching, I have always been drawn to child development and helping others grow. My strong foundation in the Chinese language — having earned a distinction in the 'O' Level Chinese exam — fuels my love for creating stories that make learning Chinese engaging and accessible.

I now focus exclusively on writing and selling Chinese Readers, carefully crafted for learners of all ages. My goal is to make Chinese language learning approachable, enjoyable, and confidence-building, whether for beginners taking their first steps or for readers looking to strengthen their skills.

I currently live in Singapore with my parents and younger brother. Through my Chinese Readers, I hope to inspire a love for the language and open doors to deeper cultural connection.
