About the author

Dr Andrew Blann, PhD, FRCPath, FIBMS, is an experienced Consultant Clinical Scientist whose 40 years of practice included haematology and blood transfusion, immunology, and biochemistry. His publications include over 500 publications and six textbooks in pathology and statistics. He is currently Deputy-Editor of the British Journal of Biomedical Science and Visiting Reader in Biomedical Science at the University of Huddersfield, UK.
