Imaginary Enemy

Jane is a normal teenager who wants nothing more than to slack as much as she can w/o having to do any work or put any effort into anything she has to do. For the most part her life is normal until it throws a curvball at her and then she has to blame her imaginary enemy Bubba, she has been writing letters to him since the second grade.

I first want to say the description is kind of misleading. I thought the book would mostly be about Jane taking on Bubba and trying to figure out how he's writing back. Also that Sharp and his brothers were always her friend until the start of the book, when they started to exclude her. No, we just read about her growing up occasionally writing to Bubba, see how she interacts with the little neighbor boys, then near the very end we get around to the whole "Bubba starts writing back" issue. It's a really good book though, I was just thrown off by the description and was surprised(also disappointed) by what I read. I highly recommend though, it was fun.
