About this ebook

A groundbreaking collection of military thrillers that explore the shape of war to come.

In Combat, Vol. 3, four masters of military fiction take readers to the front lines of the battles of the future. From the information war to the far reaches of space, these gripping tales of suspense and adventure reveal the face of warfare in the 21st century.

Harold Coyle reports from the trenches of the cyber war, where hackers and cyberpunks battle to defend the world from online terrorism. Ralph Peters takes us to the war-torn Balkans, where a U.S. Army observer's mission takes a terrifying turn when he's captured by the very people he was sent to monitor. James Cobb pits a lone U.S. Cavalry unit against a fierce Algerian recon division in a fight to protect a defenseless African nation. And R. J. Pineiro launches readers into orbit, where a terrorist holds the world hostage from a nuclear-armed space platform.

Filled with detailed accounts of the tactics and technologies that will define the next century of conflict, Combat, Vol. 3 is a must-read for military thriller fans.
