Dor de cer exprima emotiile, gandurile, sentimentele, trairile si durerile care nu de putine ori au coplesit inima autoarei. Din versurile poeziilor razbate realitatea durerii unei despartiri prea timpurii, dar si speranta reintalnirii manifestata in dorul de a trai cu pasiune pentru cer. Daca dam curs invitatiei autoarei, vom fi atenti sa urmarim in viata ceea ce merita cu adevarat: esenta invatamintelor sale, care trec dincolo de zgomotele acestei lumi, de alergatura si micile interese, si vom cauta sa obtinem adevaratele comori vesnice.

Elena Costandin s-a nascut la Metes, jud. Alba, si are doi copii: Marius si Beniamin. A inceput sa scrie versuri nascute din dorinta de a-si exprima dorul ei dupa cer, cu atat mai mare cu cat sotul ei este deja acolo, dar si pentru ca Dumnezeul caruia ii slujeste are pregatit un loc cu mult mai bun decat ar putea avea vreodata aici, de aceasta parte a cerului.
