The vampires’ reign continued, and the world appeared to be in a healing stage even with the overhanging threat of the lycans. Tomesha Clay was a human who was trying to live her life. New opportunities were now available in her small town, and she wanted to take advantage of them. 

She was determined to make a better life for herself, even if her family disagreed. 

No longer would they barely have money to make ends meet. With Tomesha’s new job, she could provide everything they needed. 

At work, she met a vampire warrior, her new client,  who made her feel things she had only fantasized about. 

It had to be too good to be true. 

General Dru Moldark was chosen by the queen for a confidential assignment. One that entailed her hunting down a traitor to the crown. During the pursuit of her quarry she meets a woman who makes her cold heart sing. It was an undeniable attraction that left Dru desiring more in life.

She was a loyal vampire to the Riskel family and their people, but for once, Dru wanted to be selfish. Everything about Tomesha made her feel alive. 

But then Tomesha was called down for the draft. 

Dru refused to lose her woman to another.
