About this ebook

A mute elven archer known only as Killer. Azyrin, a half Winter-orc shaman and his human swordswoman bride, Makha. Drake, the charming, swashbuckling rogue. The fireball-slinging pixie-goblin, Rahiel, and her mini-unicorn, Bill.
These are the Gryphonpike Companions.

Arriving in Strongwater Barrow, the Companions find the town riddled with plague and death. Ending the curse and saving the survivors means going into the swamps where monsters lurk and witches wait. Sounds like exactly their kind of day.

Witch Hunt is an adventure fantasy novella.

Also in the Gryphonpike Chronicles series:
The Barrows
(omnibus edition containing all four novellas)

Key Themes: Fantasy, Epic Fantasy, Sword and Sorcery, Elves, Archery, Adventure, Action, Dragon, Witch

I enjoy this book a lot! It really showcases D&D to the fullest! Cons: 1) The battle scene was described a bit too much for vividness. 2) Some supporting characters don't get much spotlight. 3) The antagonists were treated poorly. 4) Scarce dialogues. 5) This book could be longer if given the chance to focus on other things that aren't battle-related. Pros: 1) Various D&D classes exist. 2) The protagonist has a heart & not morally grey. 3) Team dynamics. 4) Characters with agencies that aren't humans. 5) Despite it's a fantasy, it still maintains some realism. 6) Happy ending. Consider the book is free and short, it's truly worthwhile.
