About the author

Ana Balula holds a Master and a PhD in Multimedia in Education, with habilitation in Education - Pedagogy and Educational Technology. She is an integrated member of the Research Centre on Didactics and Technology in the Education of Trainers of the University of Aveiro, Portugal. She has been a member of scientific committees of international congresses and journals and participated in several scientific projects in her main research areas – the use of digital technology in education and didactics of foreign languages for specific purposes.

Anabela V. Simões has a PhD in Culture from the University of Aveiro (UA) and an MA in Modern and Contemporary Literature and Culture from the University of Coimbra. She completed degrees in Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture, and in Teaching English and German. She has been a lecturer at UA since 2000, teaching in the areas of languages for specific purposes and intercultural communication. She is a full member of the Centre for Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at UA (CLLC-UA) and a guest member in research groups in Brazil.

Sara Carvalho holds a PhD in Linguistics from the Nova University Lisbon (NUL) and an M.A. in German studies from the University of Aveiro (UA). She is a full member of the Centre for Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at UA (CLLC-UA) and a collaborator of the Linguistics Research Centre of the NUL. She has been teaching terminology, specialised translation, and technical communication and has integrated several scientific projects and standardisation bodies. Her research focuses on the intersection of terminology and ontologies in healthcare.
