This is my first time visiting the Butterfly Bayou and I can say with all confidence - I will be returning The townsfolk were entertaining enough but when you add in the banter and high heat attraction between our local deputy and the visiting actress Heaven’s to Betsy! 4.5 stars — Man, I love this series. I love that I can always count on Ms. Blake to give me all the eccentric townspeople, all the truly good and caring friends, and new people to learn to love. Another great book in the series. I love going back to Butterfly Bayou. These characters pull me right every time. I just loved Major and Brynn. The have instant chemistry. Their first meeting is quite memorable and funny. It's the bayou life perfectly. One the things I look forward to with this series is the heart and humor. I laugh from beginning to end. I'm always left with a smile on my face and feeling happy. Another part I enjoyed was the doggy hijinks.
