Dr Anuradha Banerjee is a Professor of Geography in the Centre for the Study of Regional Development in the School of Social Sciences of Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. Her research areas are urbanisation and the urban environment, population issues, development studies, and human settlements, among others. She has published 38 research articles, 25 book chapters, and four books.
Dr Prasanta Kumar Ghosh is currently a Teaching Faculty of Geography in Burdwan Raj College, India, and also associated with the Department of Geography at Kazi Nazrul University, West Bengal. He has published over 10 journal articles, and his area of specialization covers geomorphology, hazards and disasters, and tribal studies, among others.
