Professor Dr. Andrey Medvedev worked at the International Management Institute, St. Petersburg (IMISP) and Graduate School of Management (GSOM), St. Petersburg University, where he taught corporate strategy and international management as well as corporate finance in Executive MBA, Master of Sciences (including CEMS) and executive education programmes for numerous multinational firms. He has taken part in EMBA programmes for numerous business schools in Germany, France, Norway, Spain, the UK and the US. He is an author of several books on International Management published in Russia, Finland and Germany. He was recognised as the winner of several case study writing contests. He was an academic leader in several EU projects in Russia on such topics as Innovation Management in SMEs and ICT in Transition Economies.
Professor Dr. oec. D.Litt. (hon.) Wolfgang Amann graduated from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland with a doctorate in international strategy. He added further qualifications in educational leadership and learning psychology. He is a graduate of key faculty development programmes, such as Harvard University’s Institute for Management and Leadership in Education, IESE’s IFP, IMD’s ITP, the EFMD International Deans Programme, and CEEMAN’s IMTA. He won numerous awards for his teaching, research, case and book writing, and academic impact initiatives. He currently serves as professor of strategy and leadership as well as academic director of degree, certificate, open enrolment, and custom programmes at HEC Paris.
