About the author
Katrin Lankers, geboren 1977, dachte sich schon in der Schule Romane aus, brachte aber nie mehr als eine Seite zu Papier. Nach dem Studium der Journalistik an der Uni Dortmund arbeitete sie mehrere Jahre für verschiedene Zeitungen, Zeitschriften und Online-Medien, bis sie schließlich beschloss, sich an ein Großprojekt zu wagen: Sie ließ ihrer Fantasie freien Lauf und schrieb ihren ersten Jugendroman. Heute lebt Katrin Lankers als freie Autorin für Jugend- und Sachbücher mit ihrem Mann und zwei Kindern in Bornheim bei Bonn.
