About the author
Klaus Viedebantt, promovierter Kulturanthropologe, war jahrelang als Ressortleiter für die Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung tätig und leitete fast ein Jahrzehnt den Reiseteil der ZEIT. An den Universitäten in Mainz hat er als Lehrbeauftragter und in Perth/Western Australia als Associate Professor Journalismus unterrichtet. Er ist Verfasser zahlreicher Reisebücher. Im Bruckmann Verlag erschienen u.a. »Kanada« und »555 Dinge, die ein Weltreisender wissen muss«. Der Autor lebt in Frankfurt/Main und Melbourne.
