This book investigates why Africa has been marginalised in IR discipline and theory and how this issue can be addressed in the context of the emerging Global IR paradigm. Paul-Henri Bischoff is Head of the Department of Political and International Studies at Rhodes University, South Africa.
Kwesi Aning is Director of the Faculty of Academic Affairs and Research at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC), Ghana.
Amitav Acharya is Professor of International Relations at the American University, Washington, D.C., and formerly the Nelson Mandela Visiting Professor of International Relations (2012-2013) at Rhodes University, South Africa.
