About this ebook

Two weeks after losing my home, I end up finding my soulmate. His name is Ambrose, and he’s handsome, caring, and oh yeah, a vampire.

I’ve had a recent string of bad luck. A few months ago, I lost my job, and two weeks ago, I got kicked out of my apartment after missing one too many rent payments. Since then, I’ve been napping in coffee shops and crashing on park benches.

Desperate for something more comfortable than a cold bench, I break into a seemingly vacated mansion. I find a soft bed, but that’s not all I discover. In the morning, the owner of the house returns, and it turns out he’s a freaking vampire. But instead of wanting to eat me, he wants to make me his valentine.

Get ready for Valentine’s Day with this sweet and sexy short story containing cavity-inducing instalove, a down on her luck heroine, a gorgeous vampire, and a HEA! Part of Romance Books You Should Be Reading: The Holiday Collection, a collaboration between your favorite authors of paranormal and scifi romance!

Additional keywords: Asian heroine romance, interracial romance, PNR, vampire romance

Whoa! ok this book flew by. I got sucked into it and bam, finished, with a slight book hangover. Ashley finds her comfy bed for the night, along with the added bonus of a handsome soulmate. Secrets are revealed, sparks fly and a sweet but little bit naughty relationship develops. Ashley is spunky, quick witted and likeable as a lead female. I get the feeling she's going to run rings round Ambrose. The end of the epilogue had me chuckling away. This book is fun, quirky and light hearted. If you are a reader used to inhaling novels, or like a bit more depth to characters, this might not be your thing. But its a nice book to fill a gap if you need a light-hearted pick me up.

Such a good book... the slow burn. The story is built up and then they meet. I was hung on every word and I couldn't wait to see where the story was going. The characters were very well written and the storyline also. It was hot, sweet, spicy and romantic all in one, so its defo worth a read!!

I love short stories and like Isla's books very much but this one fell a little short for me. It didn't have the depth that her books usually do. Still good and sweet but it felt more rushed then I like. Standalone with no cliffhangers. Ashley has had a series of bad events that have left her homeless. She only planned on staying in the big empty house one night, then he was there when she woke up. Ambrose is a 396 year old vampire, and he has just found his life mate. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
