Broken Country

It’s a broken country with a figurehead for a president. They split the states into Red and Blue. Each state governs as they wish. Kidnapping across state borders of females able to breed is rampant. Each state maintains zealous border patrols.

The Christian Nationalist Party and its adherents control the Red states. The populace governs in the Blue states. Women still have the vote as do those who don’t own property and minorities.

The label ‘United States’ doesn’t mean much. Nothing is likely to change, either.
