The Dain

 In 1599, John Midenhall, an English merchant, was commissioned by Queen Elizabeth I to present a musical organ to Mehmed III, the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, as a gesture of peace. After the delivery, John journeyed to India to explore potential trade opportunities for the British Empire. When he arrives in India, he encounters a Dain.

In 2023, a young couple in Kent, England, made the decision to purchase a house. The house was located on the land where John Midenhall had once lived. The couple is unaware that the property is haunted by the same Dain the merchant had met centuries prior.
