Alexander Trunk

Alexander Trunk is the director of the Institute of East European Law at Kiel University, the only such institution at a German university. He has been teaching comparative law with a particular focus on Eastern Europe for more than twenty years, and has published extensively in this field, including conflict of laws and dispute resolution.Marina Trunk-Fedorova, Ph.D. (2004), is an associate professor at St. Petersburg State University and at the Ural State Law University in Yekaterinburg. She has numerous publications in English, Russian and German in the fields of international economic law.Azar Aliyev, Dr. jur. (2016), is an associate professor of international economic law and comparative law at Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg and teaches also at several universities in Azerbaijan. His publications focus on investment law, comparative civil law, and dispute resolution.
