Daniela Georgiana GOLEA holds a PhD in Intelligence and National Security, specialist in Management, and has worked for the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania-Luxembourg, as a professional. She has published 5 books in the field of defence and national security, and is in the process of publishing another 2 in the field of Defence and Biosecurity. He has more than 40 scientific studies/articles published in national and international journals, as well as in volumes published by the Romanian Academy of Scientists. In recent years his concerns have been mainly directed towards national security management and the transition to the digital society, including the field of digital security. From this perspective, his attention has been drawn to hybrid technologies and the current trends of amplification of risks and dangers to national security, through the emergence and proliferation of atypical, hybrid weapons and methods. In this paper, he has focused on the study of the economic underpinnings of bioterrorism.
