David Gilmour

David Gilmour won the 2005 Governor General's Award for Fiction for his novel A PERFECT NIGHT TO GO TO CHINA. His novels have earned praise from literary figures as diverse as William Burroughs and Northrop Frye, and publications from the New York Time to People magazine. For many years he has been a fixture of Canadian television: as a film critic and as host of the award-winning Gilmour on the Arts. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two children.
