David Pickering

David Pickering is an experienced freelance writer and editor, specializing in compiling arts and general reference books. He has compiled dozens of books on a wide variety of subjects, ranging from dictionaries and encyclopedias to quotation books and works on the theatre, language and biography. His other books include the Dictionary of Superstitions, the anthologies Classic Ghost Stories and Classic Horror Stories, and the short story collections Things Undreamt Of and The Devils of Mons. He lives in Buckingham with his wife and two sons.
