Eliane Kurbegov was born in Strasbourg, France. She earned a B.A. and an M.A. at Hunter College-CUNY, and a Specialist Degree at Nova University. Her dedication to excellence in her educational field earned her many accolades in the Miami schools, in the state of Florida, and nationwide. She was twice decorated by the French government with the prestigious Palmes Académiques for her promotion of the French language and culture. She currently holds leadership and teaching positions at Discovery Canyon Campus in Colorado Springs and serves the College Board as consultant, AP French Teacher Community website monitor, and Question Leader at the AP French readings. Eliane is also the co-author of the recently published Barron's AP French Language and Culture Guide and the author of several best-selling Mc-Graw Hill manuals for the learner of French.
