Ezra Chitando

Ezra Chitando is the anglophone Theology Consultant to the WCC programme on Ecumenical HIV and AIDS Initiatives and Advocacy (EHAIA), and he is Associate Professor of History and Phenomenology of Religion at the University of Zimbabwe. He has published extensively on religion in Africa, sexuality, and health. Among his recent publications is In the Name of Jesus! Healing in the Age of HIV (2013, WCC Publications).
