Francis Roberts

Francis Roberts (1609–1675) was an English, partially conforming, presbyterian puritan minister in the vicinity of London during the mid-1600's, and a librarian. He was friends with numerous Westminster divines and is most famous for his massive puritan magnum opus on covenant theology, Mysterium & medulla bibliorum, the Mysterie and Marrow of the Bible (1657), from which this article is an excerpt. Roberts conformed in 1662 and became a chaplain in 1673.
