Garrison Keillor

Garrison Keillor is an American storyteller, humorist, and writer whose works include several novels, collections of short stories, three children's books, many magazine articles, and a screen play. He is the host of A Prairie Home Companion and The Writer's Almanac heard on public radio stations across the country. His syndicated newspaper column "The Old Scout" is distributed worldwide. Born in Anoka, Minnesota, Keillor grew up surrounded by Lutherans. His own family belonged to a Plymouth Brethren congregation
