J. R. Miller

J.R. Miller, D.D., was a pastor, author, and editor of the Presbyterian Board of Publication. He served as pastor in churches from Philadelphia to northern Illinois, and under his leadership every church he pastored grew to over 1,000 members in a short period of time. The title of his biography, written after his death in 1912, best sums up this godly man's life and philosophy, which was also one of his favorite phrases: "Jesus and I are friends."
