Inthe fall of 1968, he became the first Vietnam veteran to enterHarvard University.His thirty-year marketing career began with the New YorkMets as the assistant ticket manager. He subsequently heldsenior positions with the national insurance broker Johnson312JACK McLEAN& Higgins in Boston, Portland, and Charlotte. He went onto become the founding managing partner of the GreaterWashington (DC) Initiative.Raised in Summit, New Jersey, he is married (Nina), has threedaughters (Sarah, Martha, and Sylvia), eleven grandchildren,and one dog (Charlie). He currently resides in Huntington,New York.
