Judy Katschke

Judy Katschke is a children's television writer and best-selling author. Her work includes the creation of Nickelodeon's "EUREEKA'S CASTLE," winner of the ACE Award for best children's programming - 8 and younger, and Parent's Choice Award. For five years Judy worked as head writer and producer of "STEAMPIPE ALLEY," a weekly children's comedy/variety program starring Mario Cantone. She has also written numerous family television specials including "WALT DISNEY WORLD'S VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS PARADE," and "WALT DISNEY WORLD'S HAPPY EASTER PARADE" Her script of the "67th MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE" helped the show win a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class Program.Judy is the author of over eighty books for children including the New York Times best-selling series, "Two of a Kind" and "The New Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen." She is also an author of the new Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew mystery series. Her work can be seen in original stories and adaptations of animated feature films.Judy's play, "A CAP OF BELLS FOR NIGEL DRAGON," was performed at Central Park's Belvedere Castle, Children's Zoo and most recently at California State University at Stanislaus.A member of the Writers Guild of America East, Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and Women in Children's Media, Judy lives and works in New York City.
