Kate Welsh, a lover of all things romantic, started writing when showering love on her husband, children, and family wasn't enough to fulfill her. She's been writing romance ever since. Her first published novel hit the stands in 1998. Kate is the author of twenty-seven romances from inspirational, to contemporary to historical and paranormal with over one million books in print and in multiple languages. She is a two-time RWA Golden Heart® winner and a RWA RITA® nominee. Kate was also nominated several times by RT reviewers for best book in her category. When not creating happily-ever-afters for her characters, she lives her own happy-ever-after in suburban Philadelphia as wife, mother and now a doting grandmom.
