Lindsay Falvey

Prof. Lindsay Falvey FTSE, an international agriculturist and author. He has variously been: Dean of Land and Food Resources and Chair of Agriculture at the University of Melbourne where he continues in an honorary capacity; adviser to all major agricultural development agencies and several governments, and CEO of international consulting companies. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering, a Life Member and Fellow of Clare Hall at the University of Cambridge, and a recipient of the Centenary Medal of Australia among other honours. He is a graduate from the Universities of LaTrobe, Melbourne and Queensland for degrees of B.Agr.Sc.(Hons), M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D. and higher doctorate (D.Agr.Sc.) and has been honoured by the award of the degree of Doctor of Agricultural Technology (Honoris Causa) from Thaksin University in Thailand. Dr. Falvey has published some 20 books and more than 150 papers on subjects related to agriculture and human values.
