LOUISE SIMONSON has written comics for superhero, science fiction, horror, and fantasy audiences. For Marvel, she created and wrote the award-winning Power Pack; X-Factor; The New Mutants; Web of Spider-Man; and Wolverine: Meltdown, with her husband, Walter Simonson. Her DC Comics work includes Superman: Man of Steel, featuring the Death and Return of Superman; and Steel. She has set stories in the Star Wars, World of Warcraft, and even the Cartoon Network universes. Her co-creations--Apocalypse, Cable, Steel, and Doomsday --are featured in film and television. She has written 45 books, many featuring comics characters. She lives in the suburbs of New York City.
