Maisa El Gamal

Dr. Maisa M. El Gamal is currently employed by Zayed University as an Assistant Professor in the Environmental Science Department, College of Natural and Health Sciences. She holds a Doctorate degree in Chemical Science from Ta33nta University and a Master in Material Science from Alexandria University. She has worked for 20 years as a researcher with long experience in different areas like CO2 capture and storage, soil stability, sulfur concrete production and solid waste management. More recently, her research activities are focused on the development of novel CO2 adsorbent materials. Her record spans more than 100 publications in high impact journals, international and local conferences, patents, books, and book chapters. She has dedicated the working in these research fields beside her job as a teacher of Chemical and Environmental science and as supervisor to the students in their senior projects at Zayed University
