Marcia Pires was born in São Paulo in 1964 and began her corporate career at the age of thirteen, working in multinational companies for 14 years. She graduated in Languages from PUC São Paulo and got married to Marcelo Pires at the age of twenty-seven. Together, they have been dedicated to God's work in countries such as Brazil, South Africa, Botswana, and Australia. Her experience with abuse and domestic violence sparked a strong desire to help women facing similar situations. Marcia trained in trauma counselling through Rape Crisis and as a counsellor for people living with HIV/AIDS through Bohani Trading and Projects, both in South Africa. She is also a certified speaker in the South African prison system, raising awareness about HIV/AIDS. Since 2009, she has led the Women in Action group, providing support to cancer patients and counselling to abuse victims, bringing hope and healing to many lives.
