Mark Cuban is a billionaire entrepreneur and investor on the ABC television reality show Shark Tank. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he received his business degree at Indiana University before relocating to Dallas, Texas. His first start-up, MicroSolutions, was sold to CompuServe for $6 million in 1990, and his successful webcasting business Audionet (renamed Broadcast.com) was acquired by Yahoo! in 1999 for $5.7 billion in stock. A year later he bought the Dallas Mavericks for $285 million and turned it into a winning NBA franchise. He has since become co-owner of 2929 Entertainment and chairman of AXS TV, in addition to investing in countless other businesses. Cuban lives in a Dallas suburb with his wife and three children.
