Mark Leiren-Young

Mark Leiren-Young is an author, playwright, filmmaker and host of the Skaana podcast. He won the Leacock Medal for humour for his memoir, Never Shoot a Stampede Queen, the Science Writers and Communicators of Canada award for The Killer Whale Who Changed the World and the Writers Guild of Canada Award for the documentary, The Hundred-Year-Old Whale. He currently lives in Victoria, BC.
