Nick Caruso

Nick Caruso is a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Fish and Wildlife Conservation at Virginia Tech. His research focuses on ecology and conservation of Appalachian salamanders and of herpetofauna in the Florida panhandle. He is the author of The Tales of Tangle Wood the Four Travelers (August 2014). He and Dani Rabaiotti are co-authors of the New York Times bestseller, Does it Fart?: The Definitive Field Guide to Animal Flatulence (April 2018) and, the forthcoming, True or Poo?: The Definitive Field Guide to Filthy Animal Facts and Falsehoods. (October 2018).
