Paul L Knox

Paul L. Knox is University Distinguished Professor, Dean Emeritus of the College of Architecture and Urban Studies at Virginia Tech, where he also serves as the Founding Dean of the Honors College. Better by Design? is the culmination of a career of research and writing on urbanization and the design professions that includes such titles as Metroburbia: The Anatomy of Greater London (2017) Metroburbia USA (2008), Atlas of Cities (2014) and Cities and Design (2011).
