Philip Mead is the author of Network Language: Culture and History in Australian Poetry (2009; repr. 2010, 2011, 2018) and winner of the 2010 New South Wales Premier's Literary Award for Literary Scholarship. He is co-author of Antipodal Shakespeare: Remembering and Forgetting in Britain, Australia and New Zealand, 1916-2016 (2018) and a fellow of the Australian Academy of Humanities.
